This is the Christ

Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing great. I hope that in all the changes you are passing through and difficulties in your life, you can find a little bit of light in this. These past couple weeks have meant a lot of changes, and well there going to continue. But also, this week has been really good. We've been able to have quite a bit of time to visit our friends, every single day other than Monday. It has been so good to share testimonies, to see people see the light of the savior, reflect on His hand in their lives, and learn how we can come to see it more often. I have been blessed to have this opportunity and to teach side by side with members and to hear of their testimonies of the Savior as well. And so I thought, maybe I'd change this up a bit, and just share my testimony of our savior if you'd let me. I would love to testify that I know our Savior, Jesus Christ, He Lives. I have seen his influence in my life. I have seen his influence of so many families and friends. And I have seen His influence in the world around me. I know He has the power to change lives. I know He felt pains, troubles, sicknesses, struggles of all kinds to help us with ours. Just like when you feel the pain of someone else kicking there foot on the kitchen table, He has felt our pains. He understands them and He understands us and He knows how to help us through our difficulties, temptations, and obstacles in this life. His teachings, His gospel of great joy, and His church are here on the earth. We can know of the truth of His existence, of His calling, and His teachings as we put in our effort to seek Him, apply what He has taught, and to turned to our Father in prayer. As we search with humility and stop to feel, to look around us, we will be able to recognize His presence in our lives and the truthfullness of these things. By way of His spirit and by the fruits (results, impacts) of these things in our lives. I know, because I have seen it. I am surely not perfect, and not close to seeing His influence constantly in my life, but it is somethig I am trying to improve. But I have seen, felt, and come to know too many times to deny my vitness of Him. And I will continually seek to see and testifty of Him, because of the love He has given to me. Just as the Shepherds testified of His pureness and the truthfullness of His calling as our Savior. I too will rejoicefully testify that He is our Living Savior, that He loves each one of You. Yes You. You can never be to far gone for His love. He knows You. And He invites You, and all to come unto Him, to learn of Him, to apply His teachings, to use His atonement in our Lives, and to Become as He is. That we may find joy and peace in this life, and in eternal life to come. Thanks to Him. I testify of these things, and His love for each on of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. The Quartet

To tell you the truth, so much and yet so little has happened in these las few weeks I don't even know where to start. There's so much to explain, but I feel like if I just gave a brief overview it wouldn't be able to say it all. But I'll tell you some things that I have learned from these experiences my past few weeks: God is a god of Miracles. I have seen it. But oftentimes these miracles don't happen in the way or the moment we'd like them too. Fasting, prayers, and other acts of faith in the Lord can save and change lives, following the will and plan of the Lord. ( If we aren't living the simple things, how can we expect to receive and see the end goal, and big blessings. I have recently that this is the truth, and it's easy when all the world is thrown at you and everything is going wrong to say that there's no time, the big end goal is out of reach, so how important is it to do the simple things ... but by small and simple things, done with consistency, the Lord works miracles. He understands how naturally we are inconsistent, for this He has given His son to help us move forward and have the power to change. And this moving forward brings joy, even when difficult. La Salud. Health is one of the biggest and least recognized or understood blessings that we have. How marvelous is it to run, jump, talk, breathe, eat ...What marvelous blessing we have every day that we just are too blind to see. I have a new companion and another has made it home safe and sound. I'm so grateful for my companion Elder Ek, he has taught me so much in our time together, it has brought me so much joy to be by the side of him and Elder Pedro, serving the Lord in whatever way possible. What an example of joy despite our circumstances. Now I have another new companion, Elder Garrido, straight outta Simoca and to the office. I am so excited for all that I will be able to learn from him and our time together here. I just want to share my testimony of Christ. I know He lives, because I have seen His influence in my life and those around me. I have seen that applying His teachings, changes us, little by little. As I have reflected on the things that I wish for my life and for others, that Christ, the truth of His restored Gospel and His plan, our what will help us to reach these just hopes for our lives. I know and have seen that there are so many people looking for peace, change, unity, freedom, and joy in their lives ... everyone ... and whether they know it or not yet ... they are looking for Christ.
