I'm now every missionary's least favorite missionary, going wild on vaccine roadtrips, and well ... my time has come ... my replacement is here and he is the best, everyone meet Elder Provonsha.
Hi everyone, I hope you're doing fantastic and are well protected against rabid dogs, dengue, and the flu :)
Half the mission never wants to see me coming around the block again, because they know I'm just coming with a bunch of vaccines and the other half is about to feel that way in the next couple days. I left Elder Pronsha Home/Office Alone for a few days right in the start of his training, but he's picking everything up great despite my Vaccinacion-Roadtrip-
A couple weeks ago we had the baptism of Giuliano! A moment I won't ever forget. The look in the eyes of his family members, especially his grandma will never leave my memory, with the whisper of "thank you", for the day that they had hopefully and prayfully waited for for years. Their faith, his faith, has been a great example to me. And the Lord prepared the way and I'm so glad that we could trust enough in Him to help fulfill his will.
I don't know my next step, where I go or when, but I know whatever it is, I know the Lord will prepare the way as I prepare to do my part.
It will be some form of a new start, that well, in this easter season is a big theme. I love the hope Christ brings to us with (1) the resurrection that will come to all, thanks to our decision that each one of us made to follow his plan and thanks to his sacrifice. And (2), the hope that we can change thanks to his sacrifice as we use our freedom to follow Him, repent, and grow. But it's our decision, we have responsibility still in our hands, he didn't take away our free will, but we have hope. We are not lost. We have Hope.
Love You All, a lot.
