Todas las Cosas son Símbolos de Él

Welcome back to the beautiful promised land of Simoca. It was transfers last week, Elder Brizuela headed off to Santiago. He is a great missionary and was a great trainer, couldn't have asked for better and it was clear that we were called together to help each other in this time and help each other to continue to grow and serve. Bienvenidos a Elder Donoso, he is almost finishing his mission, about 2 months left now. And Bueno, it's been a good week. And I have seen miracles. The Good Shepherd has a way of preparing his ovejas perdidos/lost sheep to return to the fold. Alright, let's catch you up. There is a family. And the mom of the Dad of this family was really sick, and in the hospital, couldn't breath and was on respirators. We had never met her, but the family had told us about the situacion and so Elder Brizuela and I had been praying for her. This week, Wednesday, we were in the house of the family, and we got the word that the mom had recovered! She was all better and back in her house. Marvelous. Friday Night. We get a reference from our Facebook page, someone who wants to learn more about the church and where they can find the church, we call them, but the connection is basura/garbage, so we just send them a message with the location of the Church and that we could meet at another time. Saturday morning, we had an appointment with someone in the morning in Barrio Alfonsin (a neighborhood), but it fell through. So we went to our Plan B, no...Plan C?...no. D...E....F...G............ All our plans were falling through, but we knew that this reference who we had tried to call the night before lived in this area, and so we called them again, and this time it was better. They sent us their location and it was super close, and they were like come over and so we ran over there. And Low and Behold... we entered and greeted them, and there she was, the Hermana (mom of the dad of this family) that we had been praying for, and she greeted us with a smile. And she was there with her son, his wife, and kids. A family. We had a lesson together about Jesucristo and his example for us in this life, and the path he showed us that we should walk, and how it can bless our families. Now, the family is prepping to follow this path, and the example of Jesucristo. This world is far from perfect, but the scriptures teach us that with fe/faith in Dios we can have the esperanza(my favorite word ever, Hope) of a mundo mejor/better world(Éter12:4). I think a lot of this applies to the life after this life...but at the same time, I think that there is a lot to do with this life. Fe,Faith When have faith in Christ and when we can focus on Him, in the midst of the storms of this life we can move forward, with just enough light to take the next step, and the esperanza/hope that thanks to Him with are never truly lost in this life, we have never fallen too far, and that we can always move forward. And to know that when we do, we can find a mundo mejor. And that does not necessarily mean the world around us or the circumstances of our life have changed. But I have really come to see that one of the favorite sayings of my mom is true, "We cannot change the winds, but we can adjust our sails." With our perspective in this life set on Cristo and His plan for us, we can find peace, joy, and esperanza where we normally would not.
2N11:7 There is a Christ I can testify that there is a Christ that he lives, that he is The Good Shepherd, and that he loves each and every one of His sheep, every child of God. And because of this... 2N9:21,22 El nos dio su vida He gave his life for us for every man, woman, and child. Every person who has ever lived, He gave His life for them, and He knows them and there struggles and pains. He knows You. And thanks to Him all will live again. 2N11:4 All Things Point to Him Everything that God has given us is a sign of Him, a symbol of our Savior. Look to the Stars, the trees, or the rising sun, all things point to Him. 2N12:5 Caminemos a la luz del Senor, Walk in His Light He has shown us the way and given us the light to walk His path. 2N10:23 Choose His Path But equally important, our loving Heavenly Father has given us the freedom to choose this path for nosotros mismos/for ourselves. 2N9:41 He is the only Path It is soley by Him, His path, His life... ...by which we can find 2N9:18 gozo completo para siempre Joy, that will be full forever. In Him, we can find joy in this life, and more in the presence of Him for eternity. I invite you to look for this light that He has given us, look for the good in the World, and write something down every day that you are greatful for in this world. And I know that as we do this, we will come to find more of this joy, light, and esperanza in Him.
